So todays post is all about the SoSu complete contour palette, I was skeptical at first as to whether to spent €29.99 on the palette. But after a bit of deliberation I decided to go out and get it and I have been using it everyday since! Safe to say it was money well spent! 🙂
I have honestly never used any cream contour products so I was excited to try out this palette to see if it gave me the same look that powder contour does.. So lets see what my overall opinion is…
So to start off, I really like the shade range of the colours in the palette, and me being as pale as I am I didn’t think that the concealer shade would be as light on me as it seems to be on others but I was pleasantly surprised that it was! As for the bronzing and contouring shades, they are great for a lot of skin tones and all the shades blend in really well so that you are left with a subtle contour and highlight that can be built up to achieve a more dramatic look, which ever you would prefer.:)
The only thing I will say about the palette is that I’m not the biggest fan of the highlighter shade as it is a tad bit too dark for my skin tone but if you are a little bit more on the tanned side then you would definitely like it as the pigmentation is great and it works as a great base for powder highlighters to be placed on top to give you that desired highlight look.
The powders in the palette work really well, the yellow based banana powder works great for keeping me matte all day which I was surprised with as it is hard for me to find a powder that really does a good job at keeping me matte without being needed to be topped up every other hour! 🙂 The contour powder works really well to set the contour shades and really helps to make them pop and stand out.
As for the pigmentation of the creams I was pleasantly surprised that a very little bit goes a very long way! If you are in the market for cream contours or are just interested in trying some I would definitely recommend you to try it as I think, if you have never tried cream products you will be pleasantly surprised with the results! 🙂
I think Suzanne Jackson has done such a good job with this palette and I think it deserves more recognition for just how good it really is!
I hope you all enjoyed this post and let me know in the comments if you have tried the palette and what your thoughts are on it. 🙂
