Favourite Mascaras 2017

Hello Everyone,

Finding mascaras that work well are hard to find at times but finally I have found three that work so well to give me the long fluttery lashes I desire, without the need for any false lashes. Don’t get me wrong, if I am going on a night out with friendd and I want my lashes to be a bit more bold and out there, I still will put on some but I don’t find it a necessity anymore. πŸ™‚

The first mascara was bought for me as part of my 20th birthday gifts last year by my amazing friends! And I love it, I gave been using it every day and have repurchased it since and I’m so happy that it was given to me because I probably wouldn’t have picked it up otherwise! This mascara is the least expensive of the three and is by the brand Catrice. The wand is long and thin and separates every hair perfectly! While also making them look long, it doesn’t make the lashes look voluminous or thick but it does eventuate the length of them. πŸ™‚

The second mascara can be a hit or miss, depending on what way you are looking at things, the great thing about this mascara is that it adds thickness and length to the lashes without making them clumpy, which is what I have been looking for but the down side to this mascara is what it claims, the mascara claims to tint your lashes over time to a dark brown/black shade. I have been using this mascara for months both on its own and layered with the others in this post and I have never seen a change in colour from my natural lash colour. In saying that though, it doesn’t bother me as that was not the reason that I purchased the mascara and it was not anything that I really have any interest in but for those of you that are looking for this mascara to tint your lashes, then I wouldn’t recommend it but if youre looking for long thick lashes, then it is perfect!

The last mascara is the newest of the three, I have been using this mascara for the last cupple of months and I love how it adds to the two mascaras above, I do have to say that I have never used this mascara on its own but I always use it on top to add that extra bit to make my lashes just the way I want them. It has a thick curvy brush with short bristles and coats the lashes great to give them even more length. I also love the fact that it smells like cucumber as it’s so fresh, although I am still aware it is still not the best thing to be coating your lashes in, it still helps to make you feel a bit better about the amount of mascara being put on! πŸ˜›

So that’s it for today’s post! I hope you all enjoyed it and let me know in the comments what your favourite mascaras are. I did a post last year that I will link here for you guys to check out my favourite mascaras last year. Dee you all in my next post.

Lauren,

X.
