Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer Review

Hello Everyone,

Concealer is something that I find an “essential” for makeup for me, if I can call it that. But for me finding one that is light enough can be a bit of a struggle but luckily it has become easier in recent years. When I am doing my makeup for a normal day for college or work, I would usually leave out foundation unless I feel like I needed it that day. When I was a teenager, I suffered with acne so foundation was my best friend, but since all my acne has gone and my skin has cleared up, I like to skip that step and let my skin breath a bit more even if I am having a day where I want to wear makeup. Anyway, I recently purchased this concealer as the concealer I was using is on its last legs, so of course, I thought this would be a great opportunity to try out and new concealer and share my thoughts on it with you all.

So to start off with the packaging, it is very simple but sleek. It doesn’t look inexpensive or easily breakable which is always a plus. I’m not one to rate a product on its packaging so it doesn’t really appeal to me to take to much notice of it, what really matters is what the product is like on the inside.

I don’t know if you all have heard of this concealer but recently there has been a lot of hype about this concealers cream version. Unfortunately, they didn’t have that in my shade but they did have the liquid version and I’m a fan of liquid more than cream when it comes to foundation and concealer so I didn’t really mind.

Like many other liquid concealers that come in  a tube, it has a doe foot applicator, that is really sturdy and doesn’t bend which is always a plus! The shade that I bought was the lightest shade, 010 Porcellain. This shade fits my complexion perfectly! It’s not too light so that it highlights the face but it is the perfect concealer to cover imperfections.

As for the consistency and coverage of the concealer, it is medium to full coverage and although the concealer is liquid, it is not a runny liquid. The concealer gives great coverage without looking cakey, it doesn’t take more than one application to cover up all those unwanted areas.

Overall I really like this concealer and the price makes it even better. The concealer retails for less than €4 which is an absolute bargain for the quality of product you are receiving. It works perfect on its own or can be placed over foundation to help cover and highlight depending on your complexion. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is in the look for a concealer, it can be found in most chemists and pharmacies and comes in a range of 3 shades, which is the only downfall, that it doesn’t have a good range of colours for different skin tones.

So that’s it for todays post, let me know in the comments what your favourite drugstore concealer is! See you in my next post.

Thank you for reading,
