Rimmel London #Insta Fix & Go Setting Spray Review

Hello Everyone,

For today’s review I am reviewing one of my favourite setting sprays I’ve tried. When a lot of girls buy a setting spray, the go to is always the Urban Decay all nighter and that is good don’t get me wrong but I also think there are really good drugstore products that will give you the same desired results for half the price.

I bought this setting spray mainly because Rimmel London were having a sale of spending €10 and getting this setting spray for free, so I had to take advantage of the offer. I have been using it everyday I wear makeup for the last couple of months and honestly, I am loving it!

When applying this spray, I like to apply it right after my moisturizer and then once my makeup is completely finished, to lock everything in place for the day😊

I have very oily skin, especially in my T zone so powder can be my best friend on days when I’m particularly oily. I do apply powder before using this spray to set my face but I don’t apply any throughout the day as I don’t seem to need it, once the spray sets my makeup, it all seems to be fine for a good few hours if not for the entire day, unless it is roasting then that’s a different story haha.

For the packaging, I think it is nice and simple, I don’t think setting sprays really need to look very fancy so once it works, that’s all that matters to me!

The only problem some people might have with the setting spray is that it has cucumber extract and once you spray it onto your dacr you can smell the cucumber for a few seconds but it quickly goes away, so if you hate the smell of cucumbers, you might need to hold your nose for a few seconds. 😛

Overall though, I really like it and it does it’d job so well at keeping my makeup looking well and in place all day and night. And because I like the scent of cucumbers that isn’t an issue with me either. So I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new affordable spray that does the job just as well as the Urban Decay all nighter, and this definitely does.

Let me know in the comments what your favourite setting spray is or if you dislike them altogether. I hope you all enjoyed this post and I will see you in my next one.

Thank you for reading,

Lauren,

X.

Maybelline Master Fix setting spray is one of my favorite along with the Wet n Wild setting spray.

Lauren I’m glad that you wrote about this because the UD setting spray irritated me. I’ll try the Rimmel–the elf spray is also very very good. Thank you for bringing this up!!!!!
