Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo Review

Hello Everyone,

So todays post is a quick review of the well known Batiste dry shampoo. I used to swear by this dry shampoo but I used to only use the original and the blush types and I loved them all through my teenage years when I wasn’t bothered to be washing my hair every time I had a shower for 2 reasons. One was because I didn’t have the patience to have to straighten my hair everyday and the second was because I was too lazy as a teenage to have to deal with styling my hair all the time so dry shampoo saved the day and kept my hair straight and looking some what fresh for a few more days.

So seeing as it has been so long since I picked one up, I thought I would give it a shot to see if it was as good as I remember it being when I was younger. I picked up the tropical flavour because I didn’t remember that one being sold when I was younger and I usually love tropical scents.

As for the scent. I was surprised how fresh and clean it smelled. It had a coconut scent to it that I loved. It wasn’t a strong scent that others would smell off of you unless they put their head close to yours. It gave the impression that your hair was freshly washed based off the scent which is always a good thing.#

The dry shampoo itself worked a treat for days when I am running out of time and don’t have the time to wash, dry and style my hair and it also came in handy on the rare occasion that I was just too lazy to wash it a particular day because we all have those days right?! The dry shampoo lifted my hair so that it had a bounce and volume to it as hair can sometimes get flat when it is not freshly washed. I only had to apply it to the areas that I felt needed it and I didn’t have to reapply it at all throughout the day. As for the next morning I was surprised that it didn’t leave my hair feeling dry or heavy, it still didn’t look bad the next day and when I had a shower it wasn’t hard to wash out as some people my believe that dry shampoos stick to the hair. This one was really easy to wash out when you are just normally washing your hair.

So all in all, it exceeded my expectations and was a really good dry shampoo with a really nice scent too which is always a plus. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in trying out a dry shampoo. For such a small price of under โ‚ฌ4, it is such a good product! Let me know in the comments what your thoughts are on Batiste dry shampoos! See you in my next post.

Thank you for reading,

Lauren,

X.
