So another weekly fitness and health post is here and this one is a bit less motivational than the others but I thought that I would do this post for anyone who is starting out or thinking of starting to workout or go to the gym. I know when I started working out in the gym, I didn’t know what I would need to bring with me or what sort of clothes I should were so here’s my little workout/gym essentials that I hope will be helpful for anyone starting to workout. I hope you like it..
1.First and foremost, the most important things to bring with you to the gym or even working out at home is a large bottle of water and a handle towel. Some people are so surprised by how much they drink during working out and if you are working out hard then it is inevitable that you will need a towel to wipe away all the sweat from your hard work.
2. Headphones and something to play music on, again regardless as to whether you are in the gym or at home or going out running, I always found working out so much more enjoyable when I had music to listen to that kept me hyped up and in the mood to work out and burn some calories!
3. Hair ties, this may seem irrelevant or not important but if you have long hair you would know that it is an absolute pain when you are trying so hard to work out but your long hair keeps getting in the way and stopping you from giving the workout your all because you are too busy moving your hair out of your face.
4. This isn’t one thing in particular but make sure that you wear appropriate clothing, gym gear isn’t that expensive and can be bought in places such as Penney’s/Primark so really inexpensive. Personally I would pay for the runners that I wear, my go to is always Nike but that’s just a personal preference, making sure they will support you during your workouts is the most important thing.
