Starting A Healthy Lifestyle, Are You In?

Hello Everyone,

So this post is a little bit different but I thought that it would be fun to go on this journey with you all. So I’ve decided that I am going to be posting fitness and health posts at least twice a month, where I will post tips and tricks, workout information such as my favourite workouts and foods to eat when trying to get fit.

What I’m really excited about is having you all along this journey with me, whether you are wanting to lose weight or just tone up, I would love to have you all on this journey where we can keep each other motivated and share even more tips and help along the way. So the reason I am starting this journey at this time of the year is because it is my sisters wedding next August, so I am giving myself a little over a yer to get into shape! There’s not an awful amount of weight that I want to lose but I do have a bit and a heck of a lot of toning to do. I’m so unfit right now! 😛

I have lost weight in the past which I have kept off so its just losing the last bit to make me more comfortable and confident in my own skin, although I am definitely a lot happier in my body, I still would like to get myself in the shape I’ve always wanted, so what better time to start than now right?

So here are some of the goals I am starting off with:

  1. increase vegetable and fruit intake (have at least 3 a day)
  2. exercise at least twice a week doing both cardio and strength training
  3. drink at least 2 litres of water a day
  4. lose inches across my chest, hips and thighs
  5. become more confident in my body

So they are some of the goals I am starting out with, I’m sure they will mix and change along the way but I’m happy with just have five that aren’t to hard to achieve and I will up them later when I have achieved them continually.

  1. Super excited to have this!! I was also thinking of doing the same because although I’ve always loved strength training and the likes, I’ve never held myself accountable. I think I need to have “increase vegetable intake to 3 servings” as one of my goals because I never eat them! Can’t wait to be a part of your journey!
