What I’ve Been Watching-July

Hello Everyone,

I see this post going around every now and again, I find them so interesting to read as I always find new shows that I can watch and love seeing others’ opinions on tv shows/films that I have been watching recently. So although I am starting this in July, I might continue to do them every month, if you guys find them interesting! So lets see what I’ve been binge watching this month 😛

TV Shows

Love Island

I’m sure a lot of you have been watching this show! Its one of my favourite reality shows to watch! Although this years wasn’t as good as last years in my opinion, it was still really funny and entertaining to watch, I won’t give anything away in case any of you haven’t seen it but definitely give it a watch if you haven’t heard of the programme before😊

The Americans

I haven’t finished all the series of this TV show yet as myself and my boyfriend watch them together, so whenever we have time but I am really enjoying it so far. Its different to how I thought it would be but it is really interesting and the storyline in it is really good and really believable!

I know this is a soap and is a little different but I have been loving Emmerdale recently, I usually watch it with my mum but never really paid attention to the storylines in it but it has been so interesting lately and there are so many twists, its great to watch!

Game of Thrones

I’m late to the party with this one! I have only recently started watching game of thrones as I didn’t think I would like it and found the start of it so tedious to watch, I am however on the fifth season now ans really enjoying it! The first two season were hard to keep focus on as not much happened but the last three seasons have been really good and filled with action!

Boss Baby

I watched this one recently, thinking that it wasn’t something that I would really be interested in but it was actually really good! The storyline was different than I thought it would be and it had a good bit of adult comedy which I wasn’t expecting! Definitely worth a watch for a good laugh😊

Wonder woman

I love super hero movies and I love both Marvel and DC but when I seen the trailer for wonder woman it didn’t look that good but I watched it nonetheless. Unfortunately it was exactly how I thought, the storyline was really bad in my opinion and although she played wonder woman really well, the action just wasn’t up to the usual standard. It was a really disappointing film and I wouldn’t really recommend it to anyone to go and see, thsts just my personal opinion.

The Mummy

I had high expectations for this film. Although I am not a big fan of Tom Cruise, I love all the other mummy films so I was intrigued to see if this one was as good. It definitely was! The storyline was different but very interesting and although you kind of knew how it was going to end by what was happening throughout it was still a very good film to watch!

Baby Driver

I wasn’t expecting much from this film after seeing the trailer on TV, but my boyfriend wanted to go see it so I said that I would give it a try and see what it was like. It was full of action and a lot better than the trailer made out for it to be, I really enjoyed and although I wouldn’t say it was an amazing film it was good and I didn’t come out disappointed😊

War of the Planet of the Apes

If you have not seen this film, go and see it now! I cannot recommend it enough! It is one of the best films I have seen this year. The graphics in it are amazing along with such a good and intriguing storyline, it keeps you on your toes the whole was through. So entertaining and with some of the new characters it had a lot of really good humour in it too! I will definitely be seeing this again and my boyfriend completely agreed, such a good film!

So that’s it for today’s post, let me know in the comments what shows and movies you have watched recently and let me know your thoughts on any of the shows/movies mentioned above. Of course all of this is only my opinion and I know everyone wont agree but I hope you enjoyed reading this post nonetheless and I’ll see you in my next post.

Thank you for reading,
