What I’ve Been Watching- August

Hello Everyone,

So its the end of another month which means it’s time to find out what I’ve been watching this month. I did this post for the first time last month and you all seemed to really like it and I loved the interaction in the comments and finding out all your thoughts on the shows so I thought that I would do them at the end of every month. So lets find out what I’ve been watching in August.

I’m sure you’ve all heard about this film this year. I was so intrigued to see this film not only because it has Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy in it! <3 But also as I had not heard a bad word about it. It definitely did not disappoint! I have never seen a movie that had me on edge the entire time until I seen this movie, it was amazing and had me hooked from start to finish! I can’t recommend it enough! 🙂

I swear I don’t only watch films with Tom Hardy in them 😛 But this film was recommended to me by a friend so when I had some free time over the month I thought I would sit down and watch it. I honestly really liked it. I love story lines like the one in the movie. I would recommend it for anyone who likes films with stories as well as action 🙂

In Time

This movie came out nearly 6 years ago so I thought it was about time that I watched it. I loved the concept of the movie, that time really was your money. It had a good story line and was a good movie with lots of action but it wasn’t amazing! Justin Timberlake and Cillian Murphy acted well in it, so overall it was good.

This Means War

I watched this movie one day when I had no work to do and I honestly did not know Tom Hardy was in it, so as you can imagine, it was a nice surprise haha, no it was not the best movie I’ve seen but the action was good in it and the actors played their parts well, I just don’t think the story line was that interesting 🙂

Not Another Happy Ending

I was actually scrolling through Youtube looking for something to watch after work one day and found this movie! It is about a author who has never had a book published but finds out it isn’t all its made out to be, the story takes a few turns and although it is a lighthearted movie, I still really enjoyed it and got a few laughs out of it 🙂

TV Shows

Game of Thrones

If you read last months blog post, you would have seen me talk about Game of Thrones but I thought I would include it in this months as I’m now on season 6! I’m still loving it just as much as I was if not more! There is more action now then ever and I just want to binge watch it all, I can’t recommend it enough! 🙂

When Suits first came out I watched the first two seasons but never continued on after that, even though it was really good, something else must have taken my attention. So I decided to start watching it again and I’m so glad I did, they are so entertaining to watch. If you like programmes about law with a bit of background to them and not just the court cases, then you will love this show! 🙂

Dear White People

When scrolling through Netflix it can be so hard to find something to watch but when I seen dear white people I was intrigued as to what it was about! It is basically about a college campus where black people are a minority so some students take it upon themselves to set up a radio segment and talk about how repressed they feel and what people can do about it. It was actually really interesting and I hope there is a season 2 coming out at some point. 🙂

Prison Break

Prison Break is a show that I have heard so much of but have never sat down to watch until last week. Last weekend my boyfriend and I were looking for something to binge watch and we stumbled upon this show. We are just about finished season one and I think it is so good so far! I will definitely keep you all updated in next months post on how it goes!

So that’s pretty much everything that I have been watching within the month of August. If you would like to see what I was watching for the month of July, you can check it out here! I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know what you think of the shows mentioned and also what shows you have been loving recently! See you in my next post.

Thank you for reading,
