Time Saving Beauty Hacks

Hello Everyone,

Todays post is all about time saving beauty hacks for all those days that we don’t have time to spend on getting ready, some days I just don’t have the energy to be spending lots of time on my hair and makeup, so these tips definitely come in handy on those days.

Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo will be your best friend on days when you don’t have the time or energy to spend making your hair look presentable. I know when I am working long 12 hour shifts in work, the last thing I want is to have to get up even earlier to spend time on my hair, so pop a bit of dry shampoo in and you are ready to go! My favourite is the Tropical dry shampoo from Batiste, it smells amazing!

Skip the unnecessary

A lot of times when I do my makeup, I start applying foundation without really thinking whether I need it or not. A lot of the times I don’t as my skin doesn’t look too uneven since my acne has gone. So I always remind myself on the days I don’t have time for a full face, that I really don’t need it. So lets skip the foundation and just wear concealer, skip the eyeliner and eyeshadow, sometimes even skip the bronzer/contour and you have halved you time doing makeup, if not more! Just remind yourself what is really needed and you’ll find that you can skip a lot.

Use the same product for different purposes

A lot of products can be used in different ways, so take advantage of that to save time. There are a lot of tinted products available that can be used as both lip colours and blushes such as the Benetint by Benefit. These products can come in so handy when you are in a rush and just need something quick.

Organise

Having all your makeup stored together in the one place can save so much times in the mornings, as you are not left searching for things that you might have moved since doing your makeup last. Keeping your makeup in a container or in a makeup bag stops you from losing your makeup orΒ  misplacing pieces.Β  This can save a lot of time as you will have it all in one place.

Heating Up your Lash Curler

If you are like me and need to have your lashes curled as you have straight lashes then this tip might come in handy for you! Personally I have never tried this tip but I have heard that it works really well and keeps them curled for longer. All you do is heat up the curlers for a couple of seconds using a hair dryer, making sure they are not too hot so it doesn’t burn you but just warm enough to curl them quickly.

So that is everything for todays post, I hope you enjoyed and let me know what your thoughts are in the comments and if you have anymore tips for anyone, definitely leave them in the comments. See you in my next post!

Thank you for reading,

Lauren,

  1. Dry shampoo is my lifesaver! I also love to use one product for multiple things. I use an eyeliner pencil to gently fill in my brows, and i use a eyeshadow that matches my skin to set my eyelid primer and also under my eyes to help the dark circles πŸ™‚
