What I’ve Been Watching-October

Hello Everyone,

So it’s the end of another month, which is again after flying by! To think there are just over 2 months left in this year is just insane! But like the end of every month, it’s time for another what I’ve been watching post. I have been doing these posts for a few months now and you guys seem to really like them so here is what I’ve been watching in October.

Despicable Me 3

I was never  a big fan of these films but one week in October I came down with a chest infection and was sent home from work so I spent the rest of the day curled up watching tv. I came across the new despicable me film and thought I would give it a watch. It is a very light hearted and easy to watch film, although you knew exactly how the film was going to end, it was still enjoyable and would be great for children to watch.

The Maze

Amazing! I went into see this not with high hopes but came out thinking it was a lot better than expected! It was full of action and portrayed the story so well. If you haven’t heard about this movie, it is set in Northern Ireland when the trouble was happening and it is set in a prison, such a good story and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

TV Shows

I mentioned that I was watching this last month and that I was really enjoying it. Well this month I became obsessed and binged watched it all and finished all seven seasons in a matter of two weeks! Safe to say it is one of the best tv shows I’ve watched and if you haven’t seen it yet, I would definitely recommend it!

Big Little Lies

I’ve heard a lot about this show but never watched it until I was at home sick with nothing to do and thought I would give it a try, although there is only one season, I really enjoyed watching as the plot turned and more started to happen, it ended up being a very entertaining show to watch.

Dr. Foster

I am obsessed with Dr. Foster recently. I heard so many good things about it but was so caught up in Suits I never ended up watching it. That was until I finished Suits and was on the look out for a different show to watch on my evenings after work. Dr. Foster is a show in BBC but has just started to be uploaded onto Netflix, I think there are only 5 episodes at the minute but hopefully more will come soon. It is currently on the second series on BBC but I am just finished the first and I can’t wait for the second! It is so good and addictive! Without giving too much away, it’s about a doctor whose husband cheats on her after around 20 years of being together. Its a great story of how she copes with it! Would definitely recommend.

Breaking Bad

To be quite honest with you guys, I never thought that this would be on one of these lists. When Breaking Bad first came out it was all the rage and everyone loved it but I was determined not to watch it, I’m not really sure why but recently I’ve watched the first two episodes and although they weren’t the most interesting, I might try watching more of them when work calms down.

Handmaids Tale

I am only on episode 4 of this show and I’m already addicted! Whenever I get home from work this is the first show I want to watch! Highly recommend the story line in it is so good!

The Only Way Is Essex

This is where we get into my guilty pleasure tv shows, I used to be that person that never understood why people watch reality tv, until I actually started watching it myself! It’s so entertaining, although there are times in the series that I fast forward as they can talk rubbish, it is a nice show to watch as you are relaxing after a long days work.

 Made In Chelsea

As I write this post, I currently have the first episode of the new season of Made In Chelsea on in the background, I can’t tell you how much I like this series yet but I have really liked all the previous ones so hopefully it won’t disappoint.

It may seem like all I do is watch tv but I assure you it isn’t! haha, This is over a 30 day period and some of the shows here I have only watched a few episodes of, next months list will probably not be half as long 😛 I hope you all enjoyed though and I will see you in my next post.

Thank you for reading,
