Hello December

I think everyone’s going to say it but can we take a second to realise that another year is nearly over?! This year has definitely gone the quickest, I still can’t believe we are so close to ringing in the year 2018, sometimes I still think that its back in 2012, because I don’t know where the last few years have gone. So if you’ve never seen this post from me, I do them at the beginning of every month as a bit of a reflection and also to keep you all updated on whats happening in the coming weeks.

December is an exciting month for everyone, well most people anyway.  It’s one of my favourite months/times in the year as I feel like its a time that you get to spend with people that you love and appreciate. Everyone is in good spirits and happy. This year from me though, I won’t be posting a what I got for Christmas post like I did last year, the reason for that is because I won’t really be receiving presents this year. There’s a lot of reasons for that, that I won’t go into but one of them is because I am heading off to Belfast this month with my boyfriend so all my money is going into that and any presents I do receive will really just go towards that too. But don’t worry, I will be posting all about my experience in Belfast with lots of pictures as well! Let me know what kind of posts you’d be interested in seeing, in the comments.

If you follow me on Twitter, you might have seen that I recently got insured on my first car, so this month I will be doing a lot of driving so that I am ready to sit my driving test some time after the new year. I’m excited about this fact as I can’t wait to sit the test and hopefully pass so that I can have it behind me and never have to worry about it again.  I have a post coming up next week as a part two of my experience with driving lessons, I wrote one after my sixth lesson and now that I have finished all twelve lessons I thought I would give you an update and some more tips that I’ve learned along the way.

I didn’t actually do one of these posts last month as November was a very busy month for me work wise, so my blog had to take a bit more of a back seat. So a lot of the posts I had planned didn’t happen but they are still in the pipeline so I’m hoping I can get working on them soon, I am not even going to mention the baking series, it is still in the pipeline and I’m just waiting for enough free time to be able to spend baking and taking pictures.

I have been making myself a media kit in the last month, I’ve been trying designs out to see which suits my style best. I might post a picture of them on my Twitter and see if any of you would like me to make them for you. If you would like me to do a post on what they are and how they are useful, let me know. 🙂

The only other thing I can really update you on is my internship, I am on my last couple of weeks in my placement and although its been a good experience, I’m looking forward to having Christmas off and then heading back to college for my last few months before I graduate, I have a post coming about my internship so I won’t talk too much about that here.

So that’s it for todays post, I hope you found it somewhat interesting. Let me know in the comments what you have planned for the coming month, and if you would be interested in me making any of the posts mentioned above. See you in my next post.

Thank you for reading,

Lauren,

x.
