Perfume is not something I talk about on here often. I am a nature of habit, in most senses of my life and that includes my perfumes. For the last two or three years I have been constantly repurchasing my favourite River Island Paris perfume and to be honest, I still have times where I miss it…
This Christmas my boyfriend and I decided to get each other something small as we were going on a week away for the new year and wanted to put all our money towards that. I decided it was time for me to branch out a bit more and try something different, change up my scent a little bit.
We went shopping one day on our lunch breaks and I found the perfume I had been looking for. I can be so picky when I am searching for a perfume as there is a certain type of scent that I love.
I’m awful at describing scents so bare with me haha, I love warm floral scents, nothing green that would smell grassy but a nice warm foral scent is the only way I can describe it. 🙂
I had never tried anything by Marc Jacobs before but had always wanted to test out the perfumes. Daisy Dream was my favourite. It has the exact scent that I was looking for, nice and warm and floral but not too over powering.
Marc Jacobs describes it as:
“The Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream is a fruity floral fragrance with a light and airy touch. Inspired by the boundless spirit of daisies and blue skies, Daisy Dream reflects Marc Jacobs’s irresistible mix of intricate details, elegance and femininity for a fresh interpretation of the iconic Daisy motif. The fragrance bursts with top notes of blackberry, grapefruit and pear. The heart notes are introduced with a bouquet of jasmine, lychee and blue wisteria. A medley of white woods, musks and coconut water reveal the base notes.”
If you like floral scents that are also a bit fruity and warm then you would love this just as much as me! Its one I’ll definitely be repurchasing. I’ll leave the link here to where you can find out more about it and buy it if you wish. What’s your favourite perfume? Let me know in the comments! See you in my next post.
