So it’s the start of a new month which means that its time for a new What I’ve Been Watching post. If you guys were following me last year (thank you so much if you were!) then you might remember that I used to post these posts once a month last year. The reason they stopped was due to college being so demanding that I didn’t really get a chance to watch anything as I had very little spare time. Since graduating college and getting a full time job, believe it or not, I actually have a lot more free time on my hands. Reason being that work finishes at 5 and is only 5 days a week compared to college taking up your every second.
That being said, let’s get into this months what I’ve been watching and of course as always make sure to let me know your thoughts and also what shows/movies you’re loving recently!
How It Ends
How it ends was a movie I seen advertised on Netflix and really wanted to give it a watch. It, as you have probably guessed is about the end of the world and how exactly it ends. It was full of lots of well known actors that played their roles really well. The graphics were amazing and the story line ran really well. The issue I had with this movie was that it didn’t end, nor did we even find out how it ends! Seems a bit silly considering the title of the film right?! I wouldn’t say it was a bad movie, but the ending was a complete let down. It’s hard to rate this one as it wasn’t that bad but wasn’t amazing either, I’d probably give it a 6/10.
The Butterfly Effect
I was skeptical about this movie when my boyfriend suggested watching it but I gave it a go nonetheless. I have to admit, I was very surprised at all the twists and turns and how gripping it was. The story line was completely different to any movie I had seen before. It was a thriller but one that took a lot of concentration to keep up to with. It’s definitely a movie I would recommend if you are into thrillers. This film would definitely get a 8/10.
The Open House
I watched this film very recently, I believe it was in the horror section of Netflix which I never go into as I haven’t watched a horror film since I was around ten. I’m not going to lie but I was pretty much scared for life after it. But recently I’ve been getting back into them and trying to see if I like them now. So I decided to give this a go and see. It also has the actor that plays Clay Jenson on 13 Reasons Why. This film was strange. It took a while to get started but the story line ran quite well. Once it got started it was quite interesting. The ending didn’t do the whole film justice per say and it wasn’t really that scary, I probably jumped once and even then it was a bit half assed and not a proper “shit that was scary” jump, yano? Over all I would probably give it a 5/10.
How I Met Your Mother
If you have not watched this TV show, you need to watch it! I used to catch it on the tv every now and again when I was younger but never really watched it through, so myself and my boyfriend decided to watch it the whole way through. We are only around halfway at the minute but we are both obsessed! Its such a funny feel good show and would definitely recommend, 9/10.
The People V’s OJ Simpson
I’ve been putting off watching this show for a while now but not for any particular reason. I decided to start watching it the other day while I was doing some blog work and it’s so interesting! I should have started watching it when it first came out, 9/10.
I feel like I’ve been watching thud show for years and to be fair, I probably have been but I still find it so interesting and entertaining. If you are into vampire/witch/werewolf stuff then you’ll love it! I’d rate it an 8/10
Need I say more? I’ve been watching this show since season one and although this season was by far one of the least entertaining, it still kept my attention for the 8 weeks it was on. If you haven’t watched it before,I’d definitely recommend wtchung season 2 or 3 as they are amazing! I’d rate this season a 7/10.
So that’s it forvtjid post, let me know your thoughts in the comments and what movies/tv shows you’re loving! See you in my next post.
